Numerical Modelling and Simulations for Theoretical Plasma
Physics and Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion.
INRS-Énergie
et Matériaux, Varennes, Québec, Canada.
Developed
large code that solved (analytically and numerically) a
set of multidimensional and time dependent integro
deferential equations which resulted in a study state or
time dependent distribution function (Kinetic and Fluid
Models For Plasma Transport).
The numerical methods used
included the following finite difference methods: Implicit
and Semi-Implicit (to obtain a stable numerical solution).
Computers used: CRAY (UNICOS), VAX (VMS), PC IBM.
