1985 – 1991
Research Assistant, INRS-Énergie et Matériaux, Varennes, Québec, Canada.

1987-1991: Doctoral Dissertation. Analytical / Numerical Modelling and Computer Simulations for Theoretical Plasma Physics and Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion.  Developed large code that solved (analytically and numerically) a set of multidimensional and time dependent integro deferential equations which resulted in a study state or time dependent distribution function (Kinetic and Fluid Models For Plasma Transport).  The numerical methods used included the following finite difference methods: Implicit and Semi-Implicit (to obtain a stable numerical solution). Computers used: CRAY (UNICOS), VAX (VMS), PC IBM.

1990:  Analytical / Numerical Modelling and Computer Simulations of  "Measurement of Pre-Sheath Flow Velocities by Laser-Induced Fluorescence" Experiment at INRS-Énergie et Matériaux, Varennes, Québec, Canada. Computers used: CRAY (UNICOS), VAX (VMS), PC IBM.

1987-1989:  Analytically/Numerical Modelling and Computer Simulations for the AURORA Experiment (For Laser Plasma Interaction).  Project was done in collaboration with University of California at Davis, USA. Computers used: VAX (VMS), PC IBM.

1985-1989:  Research Assistant, INRS-Énergie et Matériaux, Varennes, Québec, Canada: Numerical development for the program BABOUM (an atomic code) using Monte-Carlo Simulation. Computers used: VAX (VMS), PC IBM.

1981 – 1985

Physics Department, Université de Montréal, Quebec, Canada
